10 micron two chambers slide with grid
The disposable counting chamber BB2-G-10 contains two chambers and is suitable for two assessments of one semen sample. Moreover it has a counting grid with 1 mm x 1 mm divided in 100 µ x 100 µ blocks. Follow the lines to the center of the chamber and perform the assessments. The content of 10 blocks equals the number of cells in millions per ml.
The counting chambers are made of a standard microscopic slide and a cover slip. The chamber is made of a standard microscopic slide (L x W x H; 75.0 (±0.2) x 25.0 (±0.2) x 1.0 (±0.1) mm) and a cover glass (32.0 (±0.2) x 24.0 (±0.2) x 0.7 (±0.1) mm).
The counting chambers are made by robot technology. Bonding and curing of the resin is a tension free process. After curing, the height of each chamber is measured. Only chambers within a range of ± 1 micron of the indicated chamber height are accepted. This procedure guarantees a very limited variation in height per chamber. The glasses are cleaned and coated.
The actual chamber height and the non-toxicity of the slides are depicted in the quality sheet of a specific batch. Moreover our packaging limits the damage of moisture, and increase the shelf life of our counting chambers.
